Nick is a Board member of Path 2 Change appointed in July 2022. Nick has been a property professional for 28 years, with extensive experience in the disciplines of property advisory, sales, leasing negotiation, valuation, portfolio transactions, buyer & tenant representation, property development, conveyancing, stakeholder engagement, budgeting, strategy formulation and risk identification.
Throughout Nick’s career, he’s developed high level communication and negotiation skills and provided high level, strategic property advice to a range of clients in the Mining, Infrastructure & Natural Resources sectors, together with Government Agencies, Corporations and Boards. He is currently a director and principal of N.J Lane Property Advisory, based in Newcastle.
Nick is an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI) and member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD), having completed the Foundations of Directorship Certificate in 2019. He’s previously served as a volunteer board member of the Dungog Common Recreation Reserve.
Bachelor of Communications (Public Relations); International Relations and Affairs
Jasmine is a Board member of Path 2 Change, appointed in August 2022. Jasmine has 12 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs, government and media relations, corporate partnerships, and fundraising.
Jasmine has a history with the not-for-profit sector, including working with Australia for UNHCR – the UN Refugee Agency, First Nations Foundation, Foodbank NSW & ACT, Steve Irwin’s Wildlife Warriors, BaptistCare’s HOPESTREET, and Cancer Drugs Alliance.
Her current work involves consulting for Centre for Social Impact, collaborating with UNSW, Swinburne University of Technology, The University of Western Australia, and Flinders University, established to drive transformational social impact research and education. Jasmine also volunteers her time with other local organisations in the region including Northern Settlement Services, aiding recently resettled refugees.

Lauren joined the Path 2 Change Board in 2024, bringing her experience in audit and leadership within the financial services sector. She is deeply committed to promoting equity and inclusion, being a committee member of the DEI Council at PKF Sydney & Newcastle and serving on the Gender Equity Network for PKF Australia.
Prior to moving to Australia, Lauren worked as a Financial Manager at a women’s rights organisation in South Africa, which fuelled her passion for supporting vulnerable communities.
Lauren is passionate about contributing to her community and helping to create opportunities for those in need. She is excited to bring her skills and experience to Path 2 Change, working towards meaningful outcomes for disadvantaged individuals.

Tom is a Board member of Path 2 Change appointed in October 2019. Tom has a background in both public and government sector accounting and compliance.
Tom is presently a GST Specialist working with both State and National Government. His role involves working with clients within the private sector to review corporate governance, compliance, and operating environment.
Tom has previously worked in the public accounting space, assisting clients on all thing’s taxation, superannuation, and compliance. Tom is a keen sportsman, dog owner and homebrewer, who hopes to use his background to contribute positively towards the issues faced by disadvantaged and homeless youth.
MBA, B.Soc.Sc (Recreation & Tourism Management)
Jason is a Board member of Path 2 Change, appointed in August 2023. Jason has a background in local government, marketing, finance, community development and fundraising.
Jason currently works as a Manager for Community Partnerships & Business Development for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service in Northern NSW. Jason manages community engagement, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, community events and the Services’ large workplace giving fundraising program.
Previous roles include the inaugural Executive Officer of the Newcastle Permanent Charitable Foundation, Head of Regional Development for Variety – the Children’s Charity (NSW & ACT) and Promotions and Tourism Manager for Orange City Council.
Jason is an alumni of University of Newcastle and has completed the Governance qualification from the AICD. Jason is a husband and father of two children and has a keen interest in supporting disadvantaged young people to reach their full life potential through mentoring and education.
Bachelor of Behaviour Studies and Graduate Certificate in Criminology and Criminal Justice
Monique has 13 years of experience working in the social and community services sector. Monique has worked across a range of areas within this scope including, residential care, juvenile justice, permanency support, supported independent living, domestic and family violence, mental health and alcohol and other drugs. Currently, Monique works as the Program Manager for CatholicCare Social Services Hunter-Manning in the Mid Coast region.
Monique is passionate about working with vulnerable people and is a strong advocate for promoting equity and kindness within our communities. Monique has taken the opportunity to join the Borad of Path 2 Change to be able to further participate in building a supportive environment for all.

Path 2 Change has achieved the Australian Service Excellence Standards (ASES) Accreditation. The ASES is a set of Standards and National Quality Improvement program to assist non government organisations (NGOs) to improve operational and business systems, governance, management practices and service delivery. Path 2 Change continues to implement quality improvement strategies to ensure compliance and improvement in all areas of service delivery.
